SeqMan NGen assemblies saved in .assembly cannot be edited. However, they can be converted to .sqd format as follows. This then allows them to be both reviewed and edited in SeqMan Pro.
•On Macintosh—Open [projectname]:[projectname]-shared:bamToSQD.script in any text editor. From the menu bar, select #! > Run in terminal.
•On Windows—Open the Command Prompt window and type sng. Then drag and drop the batchConvert.script file onto the window and click Return.
Note: We do not recommend converting assemblies larger than 10 million reads.
