To export a SeqMan Pro assembly as a Phrap project, select File > Export Project. From the Save as Type/Format list, choose Phrap Assembly. Enter a name and click Save. When you export as a Phrap assembly, features from your SeqMan Pro project will not be included.
To export a SeqMan Pro assembly as a GenVision project, select File > Export as GenVision Project from the Strategy View. Enter a name and click Save. A GenVision project (.gnv) will be exported, in addition to a .txt file for each exported panel. A new folder containing the exported text files will be created within the same directory as your GenVision project and will be named the same as your GenVision project with a .data extension.
Additional considerations when exporting from SeqMan Pro to GenVision:
•All exported text files will be prefixed with SM to denote that they were exported from SeqMan Pro.
•The following data will be included in the export to GenVision, each as a separate panel:
•The Coverage Threshold
•The Conflicts graph
•The scale from the Strategy View
