Issue: On macOS Big Sur, there are compatibility issues that prevent DNASTAR applications, including Protean 3D and SeqMan NGen, from functioning correctly.
Resolution: The issues were resolved in Lasergene 17.3 or earlier. For further information, please contact DNASTAR at 866-511-5090 or support@dnastar.com.
Lasergene 17.4.3 is a minor release that addresses two issues that some users were experiencing in Protean 3D.

what macOS version is Lasergen 15 compatible with?

Lasergene 15 was released in October 2017. At the time of its release, it would have worked with the then-just-released macOS 10.13 High Sierra and likely 4-5 versions prior to that. Rather than using Lasergene 15, I highly recommend you check out the many new features in 17.3, our current release. Lasergene 17.3 is compatible with macOS 10.13, 10.14, 10.15, and 11.0.
