“QSeq is not licensed” message appears when trying to launch ArrayStar

Version Affected: Lasergene 18.0.0 through 18.0.2

Version Fixed: Lasergene 18.0.3

Issue: Even when a license key is valid and successfully authorizes other Lasergene Genomics applications, ArrayStar (specifically, its QSeq component) remains unauthorized. When attempting to launch ArrayStar, the application is blocked by a popup with a line saying “QSeq is not licensed.”

Resolution: This issue was fixed in Lasergene 18.0.3, released January 9, 2025. To resolve this issue, update to the latest version of Lasergene by going to the My Licenses page of our website. If you need assistance, please contact us at 866-511-5090 or [email protected].
