MADISON, Wisconsin – August 27, 2013 – DNASTAR today announced that the University of Giessen has chosen DNASTAR Lasergene Genomics Suite software as its traditional and next-generation sequence assembly and analysis software platform for numerous departments within the university. DNASTAR’s software is now available to a wide range of university scientists, staff and students for any and all traditional and next-gen sequence assembly and analysis work.
A spokesperson for the university said “We are impressed by the wide range of capabilities supported in the DNASTAR genomics software suite. Many of our scientists have been transitioning from traditional Sanger sequencing to next-generation sequencing technologies. With Lasergene, our scientists, staff and students can use a consistent software platform for all of their sequence assembly and analysis projects.”
