Sequence

The Sequence method, initially located in the More Methods menu, adds the DNA sequence to the Assay Document. You may add more than one sequence to your document by moving multiple copies of the Sequence method into the Method Curtain, and then to the Assay Document.

1. Apply the Sequence method to the Assay Document.

2. In the Assay Document, double-click on the Sequence method.

3. (optional) If you want to temporarily suppress the sequence (e.g., if there are too many horizontal units per page) enter zero or another low value for Suppress When Bases Overlap More Than. This will hide a sequence in circumstances under which it will be illegible.

4. Click OK.

*Note: If you are zoomed in to the point where the overlap threshold is exceeded, the sequence will be displayed as a solid black bar. Zooming in will cause the sequence to reappear.
