There are several links in the NovaFold Report that allow you to open a model as a new Protean 3D document. When opened, each selected model will appear as a .pdb-formatted structure in a separate tab of the Protean 3D window.
The following table describes the locations of links in the NovaFold Report that allow you to open documents.

| One or more selected template fragments aligned to the experimental structure | In the Templates section of the report, check rows for the templates you wish to open, then click the link below the table (e.g., “Model 1”). |
| A specific model | In the Model section of interest (e.g., Model 3), to the right of the thumbnail graphic, click the Open model in new document link. |
| One or more selected templates aligned to a specific model. | In the Model section of interest, under Similar Experimental Structures, check rows for the templates you wish to align with the model, then click the Open model aligned with checked experimental structures link. |
| A specific model, along with predicted ligands and binding sites | In the Model section of interest, under Predicted Binding Sites, click the Open model with checked ligands and binding sites link. |
| A specific model, along with predicted active sites | In the Model section of interest, under Predicted Enzyme Function, click the Open model with checked active sites link. |
