Structure Alignment wizard: Structure screen

The Structure screen is the first of three screens in the Structure Alignment wizard and is where you add files for the structures you wish to align. If one or more structures already open in the current project, they will appear in the file list by default. These files will appear in gray text rather than black text.

• To add a structure file from your computer, click Add File. Protean 3D supports ~30 different structure file formats, and the files do not need to be in the same formats.

• To add a structure directly from the Protein Data Bank, click Add PDB ID. Type in the PDB ID and press OK. If you want to add additional files, check the Add another box before pressing OK.
  
  

• To remove a file from the list (including any files that were added to the list by default), select the file and click Remove.

Once all desired files have been added, press Next to continue to the Selection screen.
