Reverse Complement

The Reverse Complement function, located in the Functions section of the Toolkit panel, adds a new reverse complement function to an existing script. See its sister template topic, Reverse Complement Sequence, for detailed information and use cases.

Unlike its sister template, which prompts you to add a file, the Reverse Complement function allows you to specify a sequence source using one of four buttons: File, Sequence Text, Variable and Function. See Write to Results File for more information on using these buttons.
