To specify a default vector, first open the Vector Catalog. Locate the name of the vector you want, and then click the box just to the left of the vector name. An asterisk (Win) or dot (Mac) will appear beside the vector name to indicate that this is the default vector. You may specify only one default vector. Click OK to close the vector catalog.
Once a default vector is specified, it will be automatically be selected for screening for all read in each new project. You may still change the vector if necessary using the Vector down menu in the Unassembled Sequences window.
