Creating a New Vector Catalog

To create a new vector catalog, follow the directions below:

1)  Make a copy of the default vector catalog, Vectors.vct, found in the following directory:

Windows 7 & Windows 8C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\DNASTAR\Lasergene 9 Data\Vector Data

Macintosh: Hard Drive:Applications:DNASTAR:Lasergene 9\Vector Data

2)  Change the name to store the new catalog in the same location.

3)  Specify this new vector catalog as the default vector catalog.

As with the original vector catalog, you may then add, delete and modify vector entries.
