Inside the Line Graph Thumbnails view, the following tools are available:
Tool |
Function |
The Launch Single Line Graph tool opens a Line Graph view for the currently selected cluster or set of genes. If multiple thumbnails are selected, those datasets will be displayed together in a single Line Graph. |
Click the Scale Thumbnail Graph Size tool and select a percentage from the drop-down menu: 50%, 100%, or 150%. The thumbnail graphs will be adjusted in size by the percentage selected. |
Click the Enlarge the Thumbnail Graphs tool to increase the size of the thumbnails by a fixed increment. |
Click the Reduce the Thumbnail Graphs tool to decrease the size of the thumbnails by a fixed increment. |
The Fit to View tool scales the size of the Thumbnail graphs so that they all fit within the visible window. |
Click the Copy Image tool to copy the graphical view so that you can paste it into another application, such as Word, PowerPoint, or Adobe Illustrator.
Note: In some applications, such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint, it may be necessary to select Edit > Paste Special then select Picture (Enhanced Metafile).
Click the Print tool to print the Line Graph Thumbnails. |
Click the Print Preview tool to view the Line Graph Thumbnails on screen as they will appear on the printed pages. |
Click the Export Selection tool to export the currently selected genes as a tab-delimited text file (.txt). |
Click the Remember Selection as a Set tool to create a new set from your current selection.
All of the saved sets from your current project can be viewed in the Set List view. |
Click the Remember Clustering Result tool to save the cluster set that is currently displayed in the Line Graph Thumbnails view.
All of the saved clustering results from your current project can be viewed in the Clustering Result List view. |
Click the Use Project Display Scale/Use Relative Display Scale tool to switch between displaying the absolute project scale and the relative scale, as defined by the specific clustering.
• The Relative Display Scale uses the highest and lowest signal values within the current clustering to create a relative scale that is displayed on the y-axis of each thumbnail graph. • The Project Display Scale uses the range of signal values contained in the entire project to create the absolute scale that is displayed on the y-axis of each thumbnail. |
Click the Show/Hide Info Pane tool to display/hide the Info Pane. |
Click the Color Settings tool to access the Set Colors window. |
Click the Style Settings tool to access the Set Styles window. |
Note: If you can't see all the tools, enlarge or maximize the ArrayStar window.
