The post-assembly text report summarizes the assembly statistics, including the parameters used, the number of assembled/unassembled sequences and contigs in your project, and the average quality scores.

To specify that the report be exported as a text file after assembly |
In the Assembly Output dialog, save the assembly in SeqMan Pro format (.sqd) and/or check Save Report.
Note: The same information contained within this report is also saved within each SeqMan Project file (.sqd) regardless of whether you choose to export the report by setting this parameter. |
To view the report from within the SeqMan NGen wizard |
• Cloud users: Go to the Cloud Assemblies screen and click the View Report button.
• Local users: The report text is displayed on the Project Report screen. |
To view the report in a text editor |
Open the saved assembly report using any text editor. The report will be located in the project folder and will have the following name: [Project Name]-projectReport.txt.
Note for Windows users: To open a text report with the correct formatting displayed, we recommend using Wordpad, Notepad++, or Microsoft Excel®, and not the default Windows text editor, Notepad. |
